So, back in 2004, our founder, Lori, was a dedicated Girl Guide leader, especially when it came to collecting badges! She loved them so much that she actually started wishing for some cooler, more unique designs, since she had purchased everything she could from the Girl Guide store. She loved them so much that she began dreaming of more creative and unique designs. Realizing her fellow Co-Guiders shared this frustration, she decided to turn that dream into a reality. Using her graphic design skills, she decided to make her own dream a reality. She created a bunch of super fun badges, but needed help building her first website.
That's how E-Patches & Crests was born, and when Julaine first joined the team. Together, they built a simple way for everyone else to get their hands on these fun badges, too. We had our first online sale in January 2005! Julaine was a huge help in transforming that early website into the fantastic storefront you see today!
Not long after, our customers began asking for custom patches, and we were more than happy to make them! Over the years, we've kept growing, adding all sorts of new patch designs.

After 21 incredible years, we thought it was time for a fresh look that truly shows how much we’ve grown! Our original name came from a mix of terms representing patches between two countries. But let's be honest, that dash in "E-Patches & Crests" was a little cumbersome, the URL was a mouthful, and if you’ve ever tried to spell it out over the phone... well, you know! Our rebrand is a fun and modern way to celebrate our journey and the exciting road ahead.
Our rebrand to Epatches isn't just a new logo with a shorter name; it's an exciting new chapter in our story.
