We believe everyone should be rewarded and recognized for their accomplishments to build their most precious assets: their self-esteem and confidence in themselves. We do this by creating products that can be displayed proudly, are fun to collect and are unique to each individual's talents and interests. It captures a snapshot of who they are and what they can become.

A bit about us:

E-Patches & Crests (www.e-patchesandcrests.com) is an online business located in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, that designs and creates custom and fun in-stock embroidered patches, woven patches, printed patches, charms, pins and stickers. Our primary market is the Guiding and Scouting communities across Canada and around the world. Our secondary markets include recreation, sports and culture, non-profits, education, emergency services, businesses and retailers, to name a few.

Available position:

Marketing & Sales Coordinator

You will take part in our online marketing campaigns promoting E-Patches & Crests on our Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn and Alignable social media channels.  Using your marketing muscle, you will research and analyze businesses and associations that will benefit our target markets and use this information in the development of a marketing and sales strategy. Other duties may include coordination of special events/campaigns, documenting consumer feedback, organizing email campaigns, and tracking and reporting on website activity.

Ideal candidate: Seeking someone who has great verbal and written communication skills, extensive knowledge of social media, and is comfortable implementing business strategies. Some experience in sales, online marketing, digital marketing, marketing communications, and/or marketing strategy would be an asset.

The ideal applicant will have the ability to learn, follow directions, work virtually/independently, pay attention to detail, and be organized. Reliability and punctuality are necessary in order to attend Skype meetings on a regular basis. Having been or still a Girl Guide / Girl Scout / Boy Scout member is desirable but not necessary.

Timeline: This is a virtual position that starts immediately either in a part-time, 3/4 time or full-time position.

Compensation: To be determined based on experience.
