Holi - Festival of Colours

Item No: E1138
Dimensions: 2" w x 2" h
Patch since: Feb 15/22

Holi is a Hindu festival celebrated in India and Nepal, also known as the "festival of colours" or the "festival of love." The festival signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, the end of winter, and for many, a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.

People of all ages celebrate the festival, and it is a time for people to come together and enjoy the colours of the season. People gather in open spaces and throw coloured powder and water at each other, creating a vibrant and joyous atmosphere.

Holi is also celebrated with traditional music and dance; people often gather around bonfires to sing and dance. People exchange sweets and gifts with each other, and the festival is a time for families and friends to come together and celebrate.

Celebrate with our Holi Festival of Colours embroidered patch.

Just wanted to say that I really enjoy your crests and am also very proud to present them to the other girls/leaders. You and your company are doing a fine job and keep up the good work. I will be using your crests for the upcoming year through my Sparks Program.
